What You'll Do
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Hands-on experience conducting developmentally appropriate assessments using the Vineland-3 and other standardized measures
Provide in-home and community-based ABA services to children with autism and developmental needs
Collect, monitor, and analyze behavioral data to guide decision-making
Coach and model behavioral strategies for caregivers and behavior technicians
Supervise RBTs/Behavior Technicians and ensure treatment fidelity
Facilitate family and caregiver training to generalize skills across settings

The Substance Addiction Counselor will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with all other disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population. Graduation from a Bachelor's level program or higher

Your Role and Impact

About the role
Job Summary: The Clinician I will assist the Director of Outpatient Services ensuring the provision of quality care in an outpatient mental health clinic serving individuals with co-occurring disorders. S/he will provide weekly supervision to Master Level clinicians, interns, or other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive assessments and individualized service plans; and provide group treatment services using evidence-based practices, as needed. They will also ensure service utilization benchmarks and reporting requirements for funders are met in a timely manner. As part of the Casa Esperanza, Inc. team, the Clinician I will provide services in a fully integrated, holistic, and collaborative manner using a team-treatment approach, to ensure the coordination of all client services, both across Casa programs as well as with external providers. Maintain an up-to-date waitlist and prioritize the assessment and appropriate placement of all high-risk individuals.
Monitor case assignments and ensure appropriate caseload mix.

Work with Director of Outpatient Services team to plan, implement, and maintain urgent care model.
Provide back up on-call coverage, as needed.

Participate in daily team meetings and report on the progress of discharge planning for each patient and caseload.

Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.
The Clinician is a member of the multidisciplinary team who provides direct assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment intervention and psycho-education to patients and their family members.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
License requirement: LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or partial hospitalization setting.
Working knowledge of available community resources and the mental health and substance system as a whole.
Strong experience with group therapy, crisis intervention, treatment, and discharge planning.
Must be organized, efficient, have time management skills, and flexibility while working in a fast-paced environment.
Legible and timely documentation of all clinical encounters in patients' charts.
Ability to work collaboratively with a treatment team with all providers within the hospital.
Additional Requirements - Must obtain and maintain approved CPR certification and Management of Assaultive Behavior training including restraint and seclusion policies prior to assuming patient care responsibility.
