This position will provide quality, clinical supervision and work directions to program managers and interventionists providing discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

JOB SUMMARY
The Clinician is responsible for establishing and implementing quality clinical treatment and case management for children and adolescents with special mental health needs. Clinicians shall provide individual, group, and family therapy as well as rehabilitative services and case management in whatever setting is most beneficial for the identified client. PROGRAM
School-Aged Treatment Services (SATS): Provides a continuum of intervention services for children and youth in San Bernardino County schools ranging from resources and support through intensive mental health services for children.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides comprehensive mental health assessments on assigned clients to determine the need for mental health services. Develops treatment plans and goals based on assessed areas of needs and strengths identified in the assessment. The Clinician shall monitor and evaluate client's progress on identified goals in the treatment plan.
Completes all required documentation in a timely manner for each assigned client and maintains a comprehensive set of treatment records as stipulated in the County Mental Health Plan (MHP) or other agencies responsible for program oversight.
Acts as the liaison between the program and family/community agencies including individuals such as Parents/Caregivers, Case Managers, County Social Workers, Teachers/Education Providers, and Probation Officers. The Clinician shall work with the family or care providers in the implementation of treatment plans and will maintain contacts with all important individuals in the client's life.
Provides individual, family, and group counseling based on the needs of the clients served.
Meets Agency service percentage standard reflecting expected time spent with clients, if applicable.
Completes other assigned program operational tasks in accordance with supervisory directives.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Essential Functions:
* Provides individual and family support services in accordance with the individualized plans.
* Able to effectively engage, develop relationships with appropriate boundaries with assigned clients.
* Effectively manages a flexible community based schedule.
* Completes all required documentation according to Agency and program standards within required time constraints.
* Is an active member of assigned treatment teams.
* Meets Agency service percentage standard reflecting expected time spent with clients, if applicable.
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
* Must possess a bachelor's degree in psychology or a closely related behavioral science field.
* 1-2 years of experience working with children and/or families preferred.
* Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Position/Program Requirements:
* Must possess a valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance and clean driving record.
* Must be physically and mentally fit. Must be willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) and drug screening test.
* Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
* Must be flexible to work nights and weekends, may need to work a split-shift, varying schedule according to operational needs.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to work in an office or outdoor environment including standing, walking, and running, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching, balancing, occasional carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds and up to 10 pounds frequently.
* Must be physically able to perform Pro-Act Restraint Techniques, CPR and First Aid as trained.
* Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle for traveling up to 100 miles driving distance.
