· Canter Power Systems currently offers our services in eight states and is the largest provider of residential standby generator installations for Home Depot. We are also the exclusive provider for additional utility partners.

The problems we need your help to solve
· How do we build a national sales team organization that can deliver predictable close rates across multiple different channels (social, print, tv, and more)?
· How do we continue improving our close rates of in-home estimates and get better at communicating with our customers?
· How do we sell more and more generators in the Louisiana market?
Your responsibilities
· We are hiring you to be the star of our growing Louisiana sales force!
· As part of your role, you will be directly responsible for all of our area leads. This includes meeting with prospects in their homes, sharing our product with them, matching what they need with their budget, and figuring out a way to create a happy customer.
· Other general expectations and responsibilities will include: becoming an expert in our product, value proposition, and how we fill the market need, and keeping in sync with the rest of the Canter sales team regarding industry trends and the needs/voice of the market.
· The success of your role will initially be tied directly to your ability to sell our product to our prospects.
Your day-to-day
· Initially, you will get the opportunity to learn all about our product and sales processes. This includes but is not limited to: participating in an in-class training at our company headquarters to learn the ins and outs of generator sales, riding with our sales experts to learn about what they do, and eventually traveling back to Louisiana to sell on your own. Our team will be there to help and assist whenever and wherever you need it!
· Eventually, you will have full autonomy to take appointments in your area and from your computer. You can choose your schedule, and we will book appointments directly for you!
· You don't have to worry about ANY outbound efforts, everyone you will be meeting will already be qualified and a warm lead :)
· You will work ~60 appointments per month and improve your closing rates as you go. Our team will help make sure you have everything you need to be successful.
Qualifications
· Advanced degree is preferred and recommended
· A minimum of 5 years proven work experience in direct consumer sales is preferred
· Self-driven individuals who are motivated by a wonderful compensation and bonus structure are required
